0% Load on GPU While Rendering?

I just got a GTX 980ti and all was going well until a day or two ago. Renders are taking forever so I pulled up GPU-Z and noticed I'm getting no load at all on my gpu even though in the Advanced Iray settings I have the GPU ticked in both boxes and CPU unticked in both boxes. Anyone have any idea what's going wrong?

Any chance your scenes need more than the 6 GB RAM that the card has? IRay will default to CPU if it can't load the entire image into the card. Try a basic single character render.
Are the drivers up to date?
What card did you have before the switch?
ok that's odd. I guess Studio just needed a swift kick in the tail or something. Rendered a single character and still the same outcome. Closed Daz and reopened and rendered on character again this time it did use gpu. Pulled up the same scene and now all is good. Mind you this was after I had already went to the extreme of powering my whole computer down and restarting it and still not working. Oh well works now thanks fastbike for the input.
I have the same issue with half the RAM, regardless of the scene size-- in Studio 4.9PB.
OP, are you using 4.8 or 4.9? If 4.8, are your drivers up-to-date?
I'm using 4.8 and my drivers are up to date. That was the first thing I checked. But it's working now so I have no idea what knocked it loose.
I've actually experienced this a few months ago. I noticed that my GPU had zero load on it with HWMonitor and got worried.
I eventually got the GPU numbers to go up again when I did a fresh install of my drivers. Weird, but it worked.
