Here's a possibly interesting topic and it might help out the Daz marketing team a little as well.
What Daz/PA products are you currently saving up for, or plan to buy next?
This is assuming you don't have tons of money and just buy everything the instant it comes out, of course. You all probably have massive wishlists like me, so it might give Daz an idea of what we've currently got our collective eye on. For me I think its going to be Victoria 7 pro bundle and then all the morphs/Zev0 stuff etc I need, once I feel they've hit the right price. Its time to make the step up I think.
Edit: I'm also saving for a GTX 970 as well, to make Iray go faster!

On average day I buy nothing. The only way to save is to not spend :)
btw the vick7 pro bundle was in the sale for a bit. I grabbed it myself
With PAs being featured during the PA festival, I expanded my whishlist quite a bit.
But I only have 4-5 items on my list that I really NEED now, the rest are just things I might be able to use at some point. I hope I can get the remainig 4-5 items in September at a good price.
So right now I am saving for October, the Daz part of the festivities. Nothing specific there. If something I can use comes at a great price, I'll jump on it.

If you tell us what those 4-5 items are maybe Santa-Daz will put them in the sale for you

And actually, there's a bigger Dreamlight course that I want to get, but I don't see that in the Daz store, only on Dreamlight's homepage. That's going to take some saving up for... :)
In preparation for October, a couple of days ago I also went through all the PC+ items... Got around 300 of them on my whistlist... It'll be a while before I get all of them...
Why October? Whats happening in October?
In September there are all the PA sales, in October it's going ot be DAZ sales. Or so I'm told...

Actually I am saving up for a bunch of movie sets over on Rendo. There is just nothing equivalent to his residential neighborhoods on the DAZ shop... and the rest of the city, though dated looking, will be perfect for my comic city's historic district, "Patriot Point." They've gone on sale a few times but always when I am not in a position to get them. I've been holding back a little here in hopes that they will go on sale again soon, because they are a bit 'spensive.
Here, I am saving up for some figures. I need more male stuff, so Scott 6 is on the list. And I need more hair and more everyday sorts of clothing as well.
And then there are the new Iray things, particularly shaders and HDRI sets.
But there's really not any one thing or group of things in particular. I put a bunch of junk on my wish list and then check every so often to see if any of it is on sale by sorting low to high price.

Well, my wishlist is at 420 after two months of not being able to spend anything. I got a big whack at that list yesterday, but have a lot more to go...
Highlights:
Unshaven 2, some of Mec4D's shader packs, the wet and tanned skin/drips and drops thing, dragons, a variety of bend and other body stuff (like glute control), growing up (from Zev0), Shapeshift (man, there should be a Zev0 frequent buyer program), Dystopian drone stuff (I have most of the worker stuff, it's core to my webcomic, but I could use the trooper and similar), and sooo much more.
Its the PC anniversary sale.

He has just announced his Shape Shift for G3F in the commons thread, and normally the PA's do that the day before the product comes out in the store. So my guess (and it is only a guess) is that his store will be on sale tomorrow, or the day after.
I am saving for Michael 7, although given how orange the genesis 3 females are in the renders I see I'm really hoping there isn't a coloration issue with gen 3 male.
In general I can afford to buy what I want, but I'm not buying genesis 3 female content any longer. I've bought several sets, and found, that althoughs he is nice-looking, I get equal or nicer results with gen 2 figures, and their skins appeal to me far more.
So nothing in particular.
I bought a couple sci-fi sets yesterday which was nice.

I agree that G2F characters and skins are far, far better than the G3F ones at present in my opinion. However, G3F just bends so realistically compared to G2F that its forcing me to consider the change.
I'm hoping the G3F character/skins situation will improve in the future.
Oh, none of Zev0's stuff has been on sale recently. I just needed to get some of it and plan on getting more when I can, sale or not. Obviously, a sale will move up my schedule. ;)
I also am unlikely to get anything G3 anytime soon. I don't have a problem with it, it's definitely improved in some subtle and cool ways, it's just the massive synergy and ability to make previous stuff look good is so great there's no real... draw for G3's stuff yet. I mean, heck, I was impressed how good I could make V4.2 stuff. And there's a good 500+ items I want to get that's pre-G3. ;)
Guys I think the G3F skins are okay, its just the promo lighting giving them this tanned tint.
I only have V7 and her skin renders wonderfully, she is supposed to be tanned though, I' d really love to try Eva.
But V7 is in no way orange : )

Agreed. I still use a lot of V4.2 I wish she bent a bit better, but.......
V4.2 does have all the best characters and skins (mostly on Rendo). No question about that.
Gen 7 looks orangey/muddy or perhaps sallow to me. I'm sure that light is a factor, but yeah, quite a few of the gen 3 ladies have this weird overdone orangey-muddy tone to the skin. I find it quite unattractive. I'm sure it is a combo of skin and iray lighting. Didn't notice that when most of the art was done in 3delight. But it looks off to me.
It is odd, because I used to really admire DAZ's promo art. But lately, I think many of it is quite unflattering.
No question.... Michael 7 Pro Package I know it's not too far away as they already offered a discount on it if you bought some other Gen 2 male...... For Daz to delay too long would cause them book keeping nigtmares if they scew up all the people who too advantage of the offer.
I mainly use Genesis and Genesis 2. I did the V4.2 just to test the whole notion of 'outdated' content, and the power of Iray and more modern content to spruce up older content. And, well, there you go.
I feel pretty confident in being able to use Genesis 1&2 for the conceivable future; as it is, the main webcomic stuff I do doesn't place a high demand on highly detailed/realistic stuff, so even better.
