Manipulate cloth & clothing?

G'day there,

I want to be able to manipulate an existing piece of clothing or material separate from a figure. Drape it onto furniture,hang it on a washing line,flip over a shoulder, hanging from a coat hook etc.

Is this possible?

So far, I haven't been able to find anything to do this.

I have the Fit Control for Genesis/Genesis 2 Male's by Zev0 Discobob  but haven't found a way to get the results I need.

Any suggestions?

You have to use them with the Dynamic Clothing Control, it is included with DAZ Studio Pro http://www.daz3d.com/dynamic-clothing-control

You don't actually need to buy the plug in referenced above to use the dynamic clothing, particularly if you are only using it to drape across props. There is a free dynamic control plug in that is included with Daz Studio. Note that you can not use any clothing item, only those that are created as dynamic. There is a bunch of free items on optitex's own web site.

Indeed the free dynamic clothes and the plugin are very good for that kind of thing. Below is an example where I made a pile of clothes by dropping a bunch of dynamic clothes onto a sphere and a plane primitive. Works also for draping on furniture. The pay plugin gives more options, but is not required.
