...still partial to Colin Baker.myself, as well as Lalla Ward.  Definitely the best team up, right up there with Steed and Peel.

Indeed, although I'm not a fan of cannoli, everyone I know who has tried them, loves them...  The food at Mamma Lombardi is great... If you don't mind the wait, but once you get to the eating part, it makes up for the waiting part.

I have just the thing for that...

And if that fails to cure you and you are afraid of eating your friends, maybe this will solve that problem...

Wednesday was another day at Univeral.  I was primarily in the "Studios" park, instead of the "Islands of Adventure" park.  Though I did ride the Hogwart's Express between the two parks a couple of times.  Found a wonderful old distressed wooden handled, large, actual glass, heavy magnifying glass with antiqued  brass rim.  I paid, I'm sure, too much money for it but it is sure a nice instrument, not a plastic toy.  Had lunch in "Mel's Diner", got a snack from Abu's "Quickie Mart" in Simpson's land. Had a butter beer in Diagon Alley, scared a witch in Knockturn Alley.  Was afraid I'd forget to do something so I looked for a "Rememberall" but coudn't find one, but was told that they're sold outside Hogwarts, in the other park.  I also needed more time so I bought a "Time Turner" to go back an hour or so and redo things. I got to ride several new rides that I hadn't seen before and was even able to fit into the seat of the "Mummy's Revenge" rollercoaster. I guess my diet did some good, but still the attendant had to push down hard to get my safety bar to latch.  Good thing too.  It's a very wild jerky ride.

Then about 4:30 it started to rain, sometimes hard.  But having ridden motorcycle for many years, I'd learned that once your underwear is wet, there's no need to try to duck out of the rain anymore.  Then too soon, it was almost 6:00 closing time for the "Studio" part of the complex and I had to turn in my ECV (mini-golf cart) and walk The 1/4 mile back to the "City Walk" area with the major restaurants, bars, nightclubs, and mega souvenier shops.  I was of course thoroughly wet and miserable, but I'd decided and already bought my ticket for the Dr. Who 3D movie for an outrageous price of $18 and I wasn't going to miss it.  So I looked for breezy areas and tried to dry out a little while I waited.  The Dr. Who 3D movie is an episode I'd already seen, (Clara's boyfriend "Mr.Pink" gets killed by an automobile and she tries to force the Dr. to go back in time to fix the problem)  Sitting in a very air-conditioned theater in wet clothes to watch a movie I'd already seen was not fun so I left early.  Very tired, wet, sore, hungry, and got lost in the dark on the way back to my hotel.  If I hadn't had my Garmin, navigating device I would still be wandering the Orlando metro area.

Today my feet refused to let me go back to Universal to use my 3rd day of my ticket.  So I slept late then drove around the theme parks area south of Orlando for a few hours, getting lost and refound via maps and my Garmin device.  I did have a good lunch at a steakhouse, and then visited the "Orlando Eye" ferriswheel, and Madame Tussaud's wax museum.  Then I was back at my hotel by 3:00 PM vegging out on snacks and fudge and a Taco Bell something or other.  Tomorrow will begin three days of visiting various relatives in four other cities in south Florida.  Then I may (may) use my 3rd day ticket at Universal for the afternoon and Evening of Monday, then it's the 1200 mile trip back home, broke but with a few things checked off my bucket list.

I turned them off and just bookmarked this (in the forum, not the browser). I just check now and then to see if there are any new messages in the thread.  it's easier and save a lot of spam.

    Universal? That reminds me....

1:1 scale model of Monster Hunter's "Tigrex" wyvern over at some amusement park or something in Japan. I wish I could see this guy up close :)

Somewhat related, really reaaally excited for this:

Assuming it ever makes it out of Japan, that is. I can still import it on the day of its release, though it'll be trickier to play through than with the main series, since they're changing up a lot of stuff and it's no longer a "Go in, hit stuff until they fall, rinse and repeat" sort of title, and as such paying attention to what people say is more important. And when you can't read what they're saying..... Yeah. xP

Still, having monsters for companions like that is something I'd dreamed of for ages, and many fans would have looooved to have a Rathalos for a friend like in that video. NOW YOU CAN. And Tigrex. And the raptor Velocidrome. And many otheerrrs <3  It's going to be glorious when it's released next year I can tell already heeee.
