Does anyone know what the difference is between the materials with a "D" and the others here?

My hunch is the icons free of the "materials" tag and have the script icon on the upper left are Poser Companion files.  If you turn on the display of file extension using menu option Edit>Preferences>Content Library and enable the "Show File Extensions" check box, the file extensions are probably .mc6

The ones with the little scroll icon at the top left are DAZ Studio optimised materials, and you will only see them in a Poser Format folder.   There will usually be a Poser version as well (without the icon)

I have Edit > Preferences > Content Library > Show File Extensions ticked, so that I can easily see if a file is Poser (PP2) or DAZ Studio (DUF, DS etc)

OK, can see that the product has DSON support so I guess that's what the "D" stands for then. These files are located under Poser Formats/Materials and the tooltip shows 2 files actually (see screenshot).

Those marked "Material's" are located under DAZ Studio Formats, I suppose these are for DS then.
