I've come up empty searching this topic.

 

Fireplace, campfire, torch; has anyone been able to render flames in Iray?

 

Would you please share how you did it?

Real light for Iray by Dzfire... control + click, choose ignore when asking to replace the existing texture. (This provided you have a flame prop)

You can also use the torches in this set: http://www.daz3d.com/lighting-collection-prop-set

The flame has many morphs, and you can easily hide the handle to use it over a couple of logs as a campfire. It looks very nice, though last time I tried, the candles gave almost no light.

That one's really useful! The morphs in the hand-held torch allow anything from wind to movement to be simulated.
