    You mean a visible beam? The usual term for those is "god rays". Are you using DAZ Studio, with Iray or with 3Delight, or Carrara? There are products in the store, or ways to do-it-yourself, but they are engine-specific.

    I think it sounds as if the OP is asking about a light cone? I think God rays are more akin to what you see shining through clouds or through a tree or forest canopy.
