Has anyone else come across this? What was your immediate solution to making the eyelashes follow the eyelids? Any advice would be much appreciated.

For the jcms to work fine with FBX you have to export an animation so the jcms are baked. Then in blender you have to activate the dual quaternion by hand for the deformations to work fine. This is if the daz FBX exporter works fine that I don't know and have no time to test sorry.

Or just use diffeomorphic that does it for you.

Hey, I appreciate your insight. I'm gonna give this a go and see if I can get it working. Thank you for taking the time to write this up.

If anyone else has ideas, I would greatly appreciate those as well. In the meantime, I'm going to give this a go and will report back with my findings.
