Daz to Unity Bridge - URP broken?

November 2022 edited November 2022 in Unity Discussion

Hi,

I'm developing a WebGL app, and since HDRP doesn't support it, I need to use either URP or Standard. I tried URP first, since it's a bit more modern, but the materials look very broken and no matter what I try I can't get it to look okay. I've since moved to Standard rendering pipeline, but I'd like if I can move to URP as soon as it's fixed.

I'm using latest version of Daz to Unity Bridge (Sep 10, 2022 release). Unity version is 2021.3.12f1. The URP version is 12.1.7.

In the first attached image you can see how it looks like in URP (left is directly drag'n'dropped FBX into project with URP/Lit shaders; right is the one loaded through Daz3DInstance script with Daz3D/uDTU shaders)

In the second image is how it looks like in Standard rendering pipeline (how it's intended to look)

(Image removed by mod for nudity)

I honeslty don't know as I've only been messing with the HDRP.

What happens if you apply the materials from the left image left character on the left image right character?

The materials in the left image are just the default Materials with URP/Lit Shader. If I moved them to the right character, he'd look the same. The left character is actually looking as it's supposed to (I mean based on what materials/shaders it has, not that it looks as required). It's the right character that has to utilize Daz Shaders, but seems utterly broken (no shadows, no light reflection, no normals, nothing).

The software itself is for medical purposes, but if the admins want I'll reupload it without the genitalia.

Yes you will need to reupload a clothed (bottoms) view of the figure.

    Is it okay like this?

Edit: reuploaded without top black bars as I missed the 'only bottoms' requirement.
