problems using personal coupons

Well, I am somewhat baffled (again) by the coupon system....

I had the same problem two months ago or so when proceeding to checkout my shopping cart. (and of course I cancelled)

My coupon (a 4 dollar reduction) is declared invalid....

Here is my current  cart : Eternal Slumber (new with 30% reduc),  Crossbow (free par Enchanted Woodlands offer), Airisu outfit (46% reduc per Freaky offer for the artist).

The total is ok for the regular offer (20.34 total) but my coupon is not taken into account (should be 16.34).

It is a recurring problem and gives a bad feeling.... Of course it explains why I buy less and less daz products despite their generally good quality.

And I am not interested by a later partial refund, I refuse to lose more time on this. I am only willing to know why my coupon is invalid (it is a We have been waitin  offer, ironically, with a 7-day validity and no strings attached).

Of course, I will again cancel my purchase (except if I am proved to be in the wrong for some arcane reasoning)
