Clearly intended to be, but I'm not seeing a huge resemblence..the jaw seems wrong.

The chin's a little narrow/long, but I thought it was a pretty good likeness.

I think this is supposed to be (or loosely based on) Ryan Gosling.

(it kind of looks like someone did one of those combine celeb things and crossed him and Matthew McConoghy).

  • Looking for a Linda Carter / Old wonderwoman one to buy if anyone has seen any.

Looked everywhere and I can't find a single one. Would have thought this to be quite popular... yes

    There's a free one at ShareCG http://www.sharecg.com/v/42665/favorite/21/DAZ-Studio/Diana-of-Thermyscria

I used the morph here http://fav.me/d9argpd, it looks better if not dialed to full 1 value

    Nobody else watching Blindspot?

    https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/dtg-studios-jayne-for-g3f/113184/

Jaimie Alexander as 'Jane' in Blindspot. Quite an impressive attempt, although (not surprisingly) not an actual duplicaation of Jane's tattoos - hasn't got Kurt's name high on the back or the flying birds on the sides of the neck, for a start. (Kind of odd product to make, really. The details of the tattoos are intrinsic to the premiss of the series, so why people would want to do Blindspot 'Jane' renders without the correct tattoos I can't imagine; and there needs to be a matching Kurt Weller/Sullivan Stapleton morph for G3M.)

Because if it was exact, there could easily be a lawsuit over it.

Yes, I know that. Wasn't my point. I know the merchant might be liable. I'm thinking about possible end users. Presuming you have a show fan who wants to do free fan-art (not ironclad in court, but most fandoms appear to assume it's OK after the Star Trek franchise owners explicitly said they allowed it), then they'd want the fan-art to be as acurate as possible, and the tattoos here aren't, which is important given their central importance to the whole series and character premiss - far more important in detail than the detail of a tattoo a character happens to have in another series (say whatever Steve McGarrett'ds tattoo is in the rebooted Hawaii Five-0 - which I couldn't even tell you what it is despite us being in season 6, because it's not important). I'd have thought a Blindspot fan wanting to do fan art would want at least some of the more obvious details right, especially the more prominent details that are very obvious: Weller's name, large and readable from quite a distance (the one writing tattoo on her that IS readable at a distance); the tree tattoo on the right forearm that is clearly of sigificance although as yet unexplained (at least here in the UK, where we are some weeks behind the US and have just gone into the mid-season break); the birds on the sides of the neck, which are very noticeable even when 'Jane' is fully clothed. The Rendo product is so very specifically not just that actress but that very unique character I can't see anyone wanting it other than to portray that character for fan-art - but the lack of specific details rather invalidates it for fan-art by real series fans. Hence I am puzzled by the merchant putting in all the effort to create it - too specific for anyone but a show fan, but not sepcific enough for  a show fan.

A few more from Savs store

SAV had some of the best celeb morphs anywhere.  It's too bad that we don't have as many for newer Genesis generation figures (the majority of the best ones out there are for M4 and V4).  I know the morphs can be transferred to the Genesis line using a utility, but the end result is never as good the othe ones for M4/V4 (close, but not as good).

So, we'll do things this way with a link instead:

    Marie Rose

Did you make this figure yourself or is this a preset that can be found somewhere? I really like it! Which hair is that? :o

I don't watch the show, but I'm a big fan of hers, and I would have *never* thought that character was meant to be her until you pointed it out... and even now I just don't see it.

  • Thanks Posefan, that model is quite good. Like your cartoon style render too.

Now I have to try and find an outfit.

Like others I really hope to see some V7 conversions sometime :)

I've got two more to add to the list:

    RM Veronica - Denise Richards

    Joss V4 - Kate Moss

  • I can't say I can see Denise Richards in that one, at all. Completely wrong jaw line and chin, for one thing.

Well, people tell me that I might have a touch of prosopoagnosia. Really!

At least can you see Kate Moss on the Joss V4 character?

Damn, I only did a search via google on http://www.beammeup.net/blog/3d-celebrities/ thinking it was up to date with this thread. OK, duplicate, my bad.

Valerie immediately struck me as a young Lynda Carter/Liz Taylor cross.

I don't know, from many of the promos I tend to see a lot of Indian. As in the many Indian actresses I am seeing lately in, especially, british dramas and comedies.

She doesn't look like any British based Indian actresses I'm aware of, but she kind of looks like semi-retired Bollywood actress Preity Zinta (in her younger days) to me.

I'm not particularly a fan of Priyanka Chopra (of Quantico) but the new Brook is a dead ringer for her IMO.

I forgot to add that one. It's always a good idea to check here as well, I don't have all of them. There are a lot on ShareCG (Generation 3 and 4) I haven't added as well.

    Brooke Shields

  • Cobie Smulders

  • Don't know if these sets have been brought out yet, but Werts and Mogadeet did some fine celebrity heads before they went AWOL.  JoeQuick's got some, too, though most of his are based on comics rather than actors.

    1. http://www.sharecg.com/v/41628/Poser/werts-Movie-Stars
    2. http://www.sharecg.com/v/34481/browse/11/Poser/The-Many-Faces-of-Moggadeet
    3. http://www.sharecg.com/v/48429/related/11/Poser/M3-Character-Morphs

There're also some celeb heads for Apollo Max at his download page, if you want, and Trekkiegrrrl.dk has an Alan Rickman (Severus Snape) morph for Maximus as well.

  • Was Cobie Smulders particularly famous back in the ye olde V4 era?

  • V4.2 was released in 2008 at which point Cobie Smulders had been on a rather popular show called How I Met Your Mother for a couple years. Before that she'd also been on The L Word. In 2012 when Avengers came out, Genesis 2 hadn't come out yet, and V4 characters were still pretty popular.

with morphing it makes a goos texture for several actresses and GND faces. Turns into a good Gen andG2 as well.
