It is great that DAZ is looking into the games market with Morph 3D:

That is really great, that Daz3D is approaching game market with Unity.
Unity store make multi million dolars transactions every year and Daz3D offer would extend it significally.
That first free asset is already ranked on the top list.

Actually, I am somewhat concerned. One of the great things about DAZ3D is they allow an ecosystem aroung their models, which is actually very useful for art and games. But at this point, the sister company says they have no plan to do this. This is both disappointing for PAs, and for users who would like to use the tech but with more variety than Morph3D can create, even with morph shapes.

I think they also lose out on sales doubly in this case. In the first place, the user of such a pack would be required to buy both assets from the Asset Store. I realize there is no way of getting their 30% from the developer, but they are also losing the first sale to the ones that just want the second character. An alternative would be to start a second store for characters such as DAZ already does for Poser. This could also be used to transfer character between other engines, such as CryEngine or Unreal, if they decide to support them later.

Pretty sure they will include PA's eventually. The whole idea of morph3D is still in market testing phase:) Once they have the formula set, pretty sure we can jump in:)
