    I sent you PM :)

Will your Columbian Mammoth morph for the African Elephant also be available again, Mec4d? By the time I found out it existed, I think your website was down. I could really use a mammoth for my book project (I love AM's animals, but not particularly a fan of his whoolly mammoth's proportions).

Does anyone know if the 80s mullet for g2m and 80s gym set were ever made available again? I would gladly pay for these items if MEC4D would just let me throw money at her!

Well I am too late to my own party this year , but if I have more time I can do that again , but not at this moment , but soon we can party again with some freebies for sure , working on that

Makes it use up to 4GB RAM, instead of the 2GB ...

Hmmm, this has me curious if PS 2020 supports UDIM maps and texturing full figure human models?  If so perhaps my search for a 3D paint app is finally hit the sweet spot!

Hi Richard ! finally you found me again ! well there is still Twitter, Facebook and Instagram , but I was out of the web totally , less dramas for a change cheeky

I am glad to see you are ok and safe , I deal with it too for 2 weeks but not major issues , I was scared to death as you know I was in the center of it . Nothing really over yet and I keep my social distancing , but thankfully we have little community here , can talk without a mask wink, no so good for my hubby, 103 ° F outside working in a mask poor thing.

Anyway, happy to see you buddy !

From what I see works on all old software from 2000 and up , I found later that there was uodate for DP3D for 64bit but did not got my hands in time on it, Right hemisphere is gone  and all links on internet broke, thankfully. I can use it again for everything , the most thing I love about that you can create PBR material brushes from my DS shaders and paint custom textures with the same value in a second .

Ah so Right Hem is totally gone.  I did read your post above, your probably right, they probably got bought up and their tech being used internally for some other bigger company!  So sad, they made some really great software!

  • MEC4DMEC4D Posts: 5,249

If you saw the new version they never. released .. but they did not give it to us at the end , it was truly amazing including also Normal maps generated outomatic from painting , but with the PS bridge I can still do that as well so no Biggy .

BTW I created BLOG/Tutorial section on my website to have all my stuff together in one spot as I am going to make more videos soon related to DS 4.12+ and share some tricks and tips

Your store has really bad hiccups ... I saw the ad "All MEC4D Products for DazStudio figures in the online shop has to go beside HDRI Environment Maps. Please grab your copy today before is too late." and tried to click and nothing happens ... Then I tried going through the Genesis stuff and comparing with the list of things I bought from you and it stops loading again and again.

Please let the sale continue for at least a week or so?

    Pretty please?

Hello beautiful people, just finished scanning woods for tiled and plank shaders versions, now I know why it took me so long to do that.. pain with tilling !

Now working on the main PBR shader maps ,  including dust, wattering, varning and wood imperfections and all kind of smart layers as usual in my original style , also floor wood shaders with wood patterns  laugh

it is going to be a lot of variation for the already advanced creative  DS users that like to have unique creation, more fun and as usual you can save your favorite mix shader you created for future use as a copy and paste one material to another don't works as shader values are not standard and will not copy correctly , so saving the new mix is the best option to reuse .

here some little preview tests , still working on the surfaces will show. you more as I progress. This pack will be exclusive for MEC4D's store at DAZ

P.S the surface on the floor plane is water damage/leaks wet floor smart layer

Thanks guys , now is the most consuming time to do the floor mosaic and pattern so it looks realistic , I hate the synthetic wood maps so all planks of 50 scanned species need to be placed manually in one texture each with proper wood veins directions  , also shingles for the walls and roof , painted, damage paint on wood , trying to cover the most basics as possible , big challenge but going to be great ! Looking very forward to the wood set. Your other sets are my go-to for metals and other surfaces. (I really should buy volume 2. I know I got it in that contest you did, but being able to re-download it if my copy got lost would be nice for peace of mind.)  From the look of the sample, this wood set will be amazing for any wooden surface I need.

I'm having some difficulty with your new website, too. I'm using Chrome on Windows 10.

    • I see a BLOG item "Clouds Nvidia Iray in DAZ Studio 4.12+". When I click it, nothing happens.
    • At the bottom of the BLOG page https://www.mec4d.net/blog/ is a statement "PLEASE FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA", but it is not a link to any social media sites.
    • The Privacy and Policy page has a heading "Share" at the bottom of the text, but no words under it. Is part of the policy missing?
    • The big sale banner in Store News, for 60% off, has the words "CLICK HERE", but when I click there, nothing happens.
    • The online store https://www.mec4d.net/store/ shows only a few products that are exclusive to Daz 3D and are not part of the 60% off sale, I guess. How do I find the 60% off sale items?
    • The text telling me to accept the privacy policy is dark gray on black background. I didn't even notice it for a long time.
    • Once I accepted the Privacy Policy, I can't find it on the website again to refer to it. I don't see it listed in the menus now.

Thanks, here are some old wood paint with many color options and  with optional displacemt for more dramatic effect but displacement here works best on floors and walls, plane & cube  type models

So many decent-looking shaders I have opted not to buy when on looking at them they do not include displacement.

I have displacement on all shaders for wood, just as additional option , as not always will be needed , depend on a model  so everyone have a choice to go for a look they want .

like the example I just posted, the balls are fine with bump maps and normal, displacement would be too dramatic but maybe you need a broken wood sphere so you use it . Definitely on the floors and walls as it looks very cool and dimensional for the eye and light . a plane for floor with subdivision at 5 will do it and render quick .

A lot of funky options Simon , definitelly not boring set .. and matching proper the light

Thanks, here are some old wood paint with many color options and  with optional displacemt for more dramatic effect but displacement here works best on floors and walls, plane & cube  type models

So many decent-looking shaders I have opted not to buy when on looking at them they do not include displacement.

I wood just like to say I knew I was not barking up the wrong tree in assuming these would be good shaders cheeky
