She is absolutely gorgeous : )
What is the lighting setup you are using? Looks great!!!
Thanks!
The only light source was an hdr image.
Just did a comparison between the two V7 skins. IRay settings are default, took about 6 hours with non-NVidia card. I've noticed some small grainy colored dots all over the IRay render, is there a way to get rid of these?
--
Looks like converting to jpg diffuses the dots, so here' s an uncompressed png sample scaled up to 200%:

Unfortunately, most realy good looking renders using PBR, have been Photoshopped, and a detailed list of things done in PS never listed.
Hey fixmypcmike,So if there hidden,how do I find them......Thanks
In the Parameters pane options menu (rectangle with horizontal lines in the upper corner) > Show Hidden Parameters. Autofit was originally developed for converting from 4th Generation figures to Genesis, and on 4th Generation clothes most of the morphs are morphs to match the morphs in the figure, so they aren't needed, which was why they were hidden by default.
Looks like artifacting probably due to not using a Nvidia GPU. Could be driver incompatibility.
With unbiased progressive renderers like Iray (or Octane, or Lux), typically a grainy appearance like what you show here means that the render didn't run long enough.

Hm, OK, will try to play with that filter. Thanks!
Really doubtful. A CPU render will take longer though and the default settings may not be giving it enough time to finish all the way. Your render may be a bit slower because it isn't as well lit as it could be. Light in iray tend to speed up renders rather than slow it down.

Yea, I thought about that but I thought the default setting would be sufficient. Will try a longer run then when I've figured out the settings.
Thanks!

I've run into situations where the default settings for Iray left the image "un-cooked". This typically occurs with translucent materials with SSS (like jade, thick colored glass, wax) and in dark environments.
I actually did a few tests with Dumor3D's IRay glass shaders on Exnem's Glass Ensemble (which has no DS shaders) and didn't see any problems here, except for with the full glass. Don't know if these shaders use SSS though.
These renders took 1-2 hours only. They're also smaller and with less content than the V6 render of course. All default setttings.

Actually, at a closer look, there seem to be problems with the green bottle as well. Will try to redo them with increased rendering time and see if it helps.

Are you sure it isn't just a Genie stuck in the bottle?
Partial reset poses for G3F.

At first pass threw, it looks like it works perfectly, so I'll give it a 5star.
Can I give it a second 5 star, lol. It resets the rotations and stuff without putting the figure back at world center when you zero different areas. Just the first one "!Reset Pose Figure" puts the figure back to world center, perfect.
Agree the availability of morphs is very limiting. Sorry I bought her atm; not because she isn't a great figure but she is somewhat limited.
Clothes are being released, yet existing clothes can be used. They are just same old, same old (new dynamic would rock).
What is needed are morphs, nothing existing can be used or at least not easily, and if they can I don't have the skills to do so.

Hmm. yea. For a figure about a week old, that is quite different so many ways from former generations.
There are always options tho.

to name some that are free. And I know they work. With actual dials, real dials in the shaping tab.

Thank you for the links.
Those links sort of emphasise my point; other's have made morphs since the release, yet daz venders who will have known in advance (otherwise how could they create items for release with Victoria 7) are not showing a list of useful items yet; as some have said, footwear would have been a more useful release due to problems with some of them.
The delay isn't down to time, but Daz's marketing strategy.

The delay isn't down to time, but Daz's marketing strategy. There is also the submission process as well, that can take quite some time. Over at sharcg, there is no QA, other then the feedback in the posts. So good and bad stuff can get uploaded and shared as fast as the servers can turn out links, lol. And the promo images don't even need to look good for the servers to except them, lol.
As for Morph sets for sale as of today, for G3F. (they cost money)

Now, here is a good Q. When Daz turns around, and tells PA's that there is a new product almost ready for them to work with. Are all the PA's supposed to stop everything there currently working on, just to make stuff for the Product Daz just told them about?
FirstBastion and Stonemason, stop working on the environments your making this instant, throw it all away, we need morph sets for V7. lol.
they will create content for the new figure over the next couple of years, they space out releases of stuff just like they always have. takes time to make stuff so not everything is ready at once.
Looks like the store still doesn't mention anything about V7 being HD (or list the HD morphs) while I've seen some shapes sold for G3F that specify they HD.
Well, that's no different to HD shapes which are sold for Genesis 2. Some are HD and some others are not. The base figure doesn't have to be HD in order for them to function.
I am not seeing any issues with the shader. It looks about the same as any of the Genesis 2 Female major release DAZ Originals. The maps are excellent.
The only shortcoming I see is when you compare it side by side to the one actually designed for Iray, and that is just a matter of taste.
I don't think anyone thinks that. It's more around the idea of having a dial to turn the HD on or off for the body itself. And to find out if the body actually has HD morphs or not.
My testing suggests the V7 body shape may actually have some HD shaping. Basically I created a V7 shape that I could use to dial V7 in without any HD. Compared that to the real V7. There are some noticeable differences in a few areas.
I can also use this to dial OUT V7's (basic non-HD)shape, but have V7 dialed in (and in theory what would remain is her HD details) to see if there is any change to the G3F renders.
Similar to HD and NonHD V7, G3F has some minor changes.
Would be nice if there was a body dial however, because I don't like using the Vickie shapes too much. But using this method I could potentially leverage the HD details on a non V7 shape.
Not sure it's a huge deal with V7, but may be useful trick in the future.

I disagree She looks bad to me, worse, than any gen 2 release- oh I wish she were that good.
Figure look okay, but her mats aren't that hot.
I know its possible to make good mats, so I will wait for PA's to make them. But as a base, she is a wash for me.
The textures are good.
If you open up the image files in photoshop you can see they have great details. I don't render with iRay or 3DL but I use the 3DL preset as a starting point for my renders.
However I do my own shaders/material settings. So if you fiddle with the 3DL shader I'm sure you can make those textures look really nice in a render.
There are not that many HD morphs in G3F/V7 and they are all in the head. There is the mouth realism HD that can be switched off than there are some for the expressions and some for shaping again all are switchable. I hope to get a thread up that shows some weirdness I was experiencing that made me incorrectly suspect there where a lot of HD morphs in the body shaping morphs.
Hopefully Zevo is hard at work creating his awesome morphs for the latest addition to the Daz family of awesome figures:))
