Oh so it's an additional 15% of...oh.
It's multiplative, not additive. So to figure out how much of a discount you get, you have to do:
1 - (1 - 0.54) * (1 - 0.15) = 1 - 0.46 * 0.85 = 1 - 0.391 = 0.609 -> 60.9%
It looks like you also get some discount for daily stack up, and probably something else as well.
And yes, Daz math can be very confusing. But additive discounts are very rare, it's probably been a few years since there last was one. Main reason probably being, that they don't want to end up with discounts over 100%, resulting in the system handing out unlimited amounts of store credit.
Why not just advertise it as 54%, 61% for Daz+ members?
It should total 66% with the streaking discount applied, which is what you showed in your cart...

I too am really unhappy about this. I had a problem AGAIN with the not checking out by 7PM Central losing a streaking day issue. Someone told me to buy one item in my cart and then put the rest in afterward and I would get my 7th day back. I did that and it worked so I paid more for one item and got the proper discount on the rest. This could mess up coming up with the over $25 or $50 deal they have going for Aug. 3 though. I got lucky and my second order was around $27. They really should have fixed this a while ago!
I bought a total of 17 of the clearance items yesterday and now today they are $.50 cheaper. That does add up. I didn't expect this or I would have waited to buy. Not sure if they want to get us to buy less here or what. Lots of places offer price adjustments if something goes on sale within a certain time of buying an item.
So I have been repeatedly not happy throughout this sale with the losing a day if I check out later in the day and then this. I think Daz should do something for those of us that are affected by this if they want us to stay good customers, and I have been a very good customer! Thanks.
...usually during a "ketchup" sale, the discounts tend to be smaller. This was a surprise to find the clearance items at 1.99$ (1.75$ with the stack up discount) on the last day. Should have waited, however sometimes when I saw something in the clearance sale that was on my wishlist and there was little else of interest, I grabbed it just to make a purchase for the day. and keep the "streak" going in hopes of using the full 7 day discount on a larger order today.
Also not having seen the progress meter on the cart either Saturday or today makes me wonder if the "stacking up" part ended after Friday even though the promo said it would continue until end of day today.
Ah well, "it is what it is" I guess.
Not any more, that was a few managements ago. Mind you one might try just don't be surprized if it's a no-go.
I get a feeling there's someone at work in management now who knows about the selling of real life goods only, not virtual ones. The only two reasons I can think of why you would lower the price again like they just did with the 'clearance' items is if you need the warehouse space or if they're perishables. None of this applies to DAZ products. Geez, can someone be employed who understands what it's all about here?!
perhaps they didnt make as much as they wanted so lowered to try and get a few more unit sales. like me in a minute

You know, I could see not awarding 2% for days when apparently the "right items" weren't purchased, but this habit of taking away earned % points is rather irksome.
eta: earlier in the day it was at 10%, went to buy something and it was 8% ... and after making purchases, now it's back at 10%. And their store has not changed over yet so really, that should have been 10% across the entire day AFAIK although I've noticed people trying to figure out what time the clock on that works for.

Hmmm, I was hoping to use my Aug coupons as it's August here before the current items on sale fall off sale and tomorrow's sale starts at 2 AM but they don't work.
Boy, this sucks. Bought a gift card yesterday for 15% off only to find a gift card sale offering up to 20% max just one day later. Only good thing is that yesterdays purchase might have qualified me für that 15% on 8/3 but I wonder what this might be good for.
Hope the understand one time. It's just a superbig "No" to do two gift card sales in a row and have the second one offer better discounts. This always leaves a bitter feeling.
+1 Same here. I don't know what DAZ marketing is thinking; but it definitely leaves some very unhappy campers who bought gift cards yesterday.

Clearance items for $4.99? These were all at $1.99 to $2.99 over the last two weeks. I passed then on whatever is left now, so I sure won't be getting them at this price.
An annoying new trend is the minimum price on "New Releases" to get bigger discounts on a daily promotion. The restrictions, if any, were usually limited to getting one or two of the 8-10 new items in the current promotion. Kind of rules out any DAZ+ items as a trigger. Also negates any interest in said promotion.
...I rarely spend more than 20$ as I am on a tight budget so totally useless.
was looking @ the 1.99 items today; july 31. when i was ready to buy it was aug 1!!! that would have been a haul

Okay, now this all turned into another case of gender discrimination by DAZland:
It's the fifth day and DAZland finally managed to solve the problem with the component pages for the two female outfits (by just removing the component products... so only the whole outfit can be bought.. tricky solution) but as usual for DAZland the male product gets ignored... each of the four component products' links on the AJC College Times product page still leads to a "Oops - Page not found".
And yes, this is supposed to be a funny approach for a complaint.

I am kinda confused what happened with the streak thing and the get extra 10% or more depending on how much you spend for the 3rd of August.
Like for the streak thing I thought I read that if I reach the maximum for the streak I will get 14% on my cart after the sale or something like that. Maybe I am wrong.
Can someone elaborate?
On any given day you got 2% off for each of the pervious seven days on which you had made a puchase of at least $1 (except that there seemed to be a glitch with time zones).
That sounds like the time-zone issue, please open a support ticket to ask for the missing 2%.
About the Clearance items: it looks like they wanted to make a big difference between the regular price and the Daz + price, except that they forgot to fix a Daz + price. Otherwise, what would be the interest of promoting the Daz + membership just under the Clearance items?
OK, so is this the thread were broken sales are reported?
My 08_22PlatClub coupon still doesn't work and it can no longer be fobbed off as the DAZ servers being slow to activate the coupons for this month as I've used 08_22Save6 successfully already. Both items in my cart are DAZ Originals, not new, not in Fast Grab, and not DAZ PC+ items.

They are in another FG-comparable sale though, by their discount, so that may be the issue.
I tried to use my 08_22PlatClub coupon with AJC College Times Outfit for Genesis 8 and 8.1 Males but get "coupon invalid" message. It's not DAZ+, so the coupon should work.
