Can Daz or some bright spark find a way of  loading only those morphs associate with a particular scene file or character?

To load a base Genesis female can take up to 15 minutes if you have an extensive library.

Why can't DAZ only reference the data base and then only load the appropriate morphs?

 I'd almost prefer the old system back in the days of V4 when you had to load the morphs you needed manually.

Take a look at RiverSoft Art's Turbo Loader products. You will find exactly what you are looking for. There are a couple of threads discussing Genesis 8/8.1 especially (it was first), and the Booster Utilities:
