[SOLVED] iRay Decal Kit rendering EXTREMELY slowly

Hi there,

I recently followed these instructions to make my own decal: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/151576/iray-decal-kit-make-your-own-decals-tutorial-commercial/p1

Unfortunately for me, it renders extremely slowly. Took 40 minutes for a single iteration. The scene I'm building, fully rendered without the decal in 4 minutes. I have 2x 3080's so it's not a question of hardware.

Does anyone have any ideas on what might be causing this, or an alternative product they can suggest?

Iray Decals are working fine for me in Daz 4.2

What size are your decal textures?  Also, are you rendering on your GPU or your CPU? 

By the way, you dont need a product to make an Iray Decal Node.  You can just go to Create->New Iray Decal node, and then add Iray Uber Shader to it and then add your Decal textures to the shader.
