UPS let my laptop sit in their facility all day yesterday, then sent it bak to Newegg as UNDELIVERABLE! :shut: Newegg has no idea why since it's the SAME address they shipped to last time! :down: So, they're going to get the laptop and refund my money! :shut: No new lappy for me for another couple of weeks! :shut:
I HATE UPS!!!!!
Anyway, once the money is back in the bank it's off to Best Buy for me.. going to cost more but I can carry it home with me. Worth the extra cash, I guess. :shut:

Not as expensive as a laptop, but I have an overdue parcel from an ebay seller. Got a "Package shipped" type email sent on the 29th May which said Your order has been marked as dispatched Delivery service : Other Courier 3-5 days Estimated delivery : Fri. 5 Jun. - Tue. 9 Jun.
Hasn't arrived yet, not in the 3-5 days from 29th, not between 5th_9th June either. Trouble is this parcel contains live plants. If it does arrive I am dubious as to whether these plants will still be alive and likely to grow once planted out. I am wondering if it is time to contact the seller.
And I don't even know which courier service to blame :shut:

It's the family plot and that's exactly where he wanted to be. I'm really thrilled at how they got his self-portrait on the marker. One of these days I hope to get back to Alabama. I need to do some in-courthouse work on my paternal lineage. Jaderail's grave is definitely on my list of places to go.

For live plants, yes, I'd definitely contact the seller and see what happened. I'm thinking they might last 10 days if packed right, but it's not terribly likely they'll be in good shape... :down:

I'm highly demotivated to do so. For $100 more I can get a brand new HP Envy 17 at Best Buy and just walk home with it, and upgrade the RAM later (comes with 12GB, which is fine for now). I'll go ahead and pay tax on it, no big deal.I think Newegg has some exclusive deal with UPS, too.
Best Buy is two blocks from a bus stop, so to/from is easy. And they have the Envy 17 in stock! :cheese:

Seems there's a lot of this "small plate" trend going on here lately. Slider- sized "gorumet" bugers for 11+$, Cajun food (like this is a most basic style of cooking, how can you not serve it in generous portions, especially for the prices charged?), and Pasta. (that's almost sacrilege, Pasta ain't an Hors d'oeuvre!).

...interesting, checking Body colour "Yellow" and Spot Number "0" there are not any photos of the one I saw, just two that had stripes and an orange one with no spots. Several of the links only pull up the distribution map.
Just Googled Yellow Ladybug no spots and found some photos.
