Help! My DIM stopped working eek

DIM won't log in to let me get my files.

I checked the firewall. Okay
I reinstalled
I checked the firewall again. okay
I logged out from the KindleFire
I logged out from the store
I logged back in to the store
Tried DIM every step of the way but it won't log in
Running as administrator and not as well.
CMS has been running all through the process.

I love DIM. It has both simplified and complicated my life. I want it back. It's one of the most impressive and elegant programs I've ever used.

There must be a fault somewhere, I can't login either, it just keeps trying, but getting nowhere.

I am sure it will be fixed as soon as DAZ get into work, but it is 4 am there at the moment. It may be fixed before that of course, the problem may be somewhere along the line before it gets to DAZ.

At least you know you're not alone :)

    Oh wow. Thanks so much.

(I had a Windows vs DIM problem a few days ago so I spent time with it before coming here thinking they were possibly related.)

    That's strange though.

Apparently Clodflare are experiencing some delays in DNS propagation in some areas. Not sure if this would affect DIM

Yes, there is a problem still. I thought it was working but now I find that sometimes it does log me in, other times it just keeps trying for a few minutes before showing a login error.

The DNS idea would make sense because, once it does login, it works fine. So if you can login, don't log out until you are sure you don't need it.

It's letting me log in most of the time but it's not recognising purchases I made today.

    Anyone else noticing that problem?

We have let DAZ 3D know of the problems

Not logging in at all now. At various times during the day it has failed to "see" my new purchases; a restart of the application usually fixes that.

Down here in Down Under (Australia, that is).

Same problem here in the UK, glad it's not my ageing computer, sorry that it's causing issues for so many, but hopefully as the sun rises over DAZland the team will get to the bottom of it.

The correct people are aware of it and are working to get it resolved. Sorry about the problem.

Thanks for the update, we're all aware that these sort of things happen at times.

Looks like it is back up. It may take a reboot before it works.Again, sorry about the problem.

    Thank you for your patience.

More information. Right now we are still running about a 33% authentication failure rate. Yes, it is still being worked on but you can get in, it just may not work on the first try.

I tried 3 times and each time it failed with the same message shown in my earlier post.

Thanks for working on it; I hope it gets fixed.

    Charlie

Edit: I just tried again and it worked this time. Thanks

I have tried six times since this announcement and have managed a 100% failure rate. It did allow me to log in twice, but each time presented me with the usual list of product updates (which did nothing and went nowhere) and no sign of my recent purchases.

Edited to add that fingers crossed, it might be fixed now :)

I'm getting that from the store, in general...I guess whatever it is, is just bogging down the servers. At least the forums are still 'quick'.

Glad I looked at active topics... first time I've done that. Just had a sneaky suspicision.

My DIM just spins and I just finished a shopping spree for the Throwback Sale.

Is it high volume that's causing it? As long as I know it's not me, I can wait till tomorrow.

    Cheers, SileneUK
