    The presets are used to apply those materials in DS. But if you don't have the materials installed then the presets can't apply anything...

    Oh I see, Leana! But what about those shader presets that dont use materials like the jelly shader? Isnt it just some type of water?

    A shader is always needed, textures may not be. I suspect by not needing materials you mean textures.

    Do you know any cool shaders, or where to find/buy them Richard? I found some really cool shader from the laser tie bikini product from 3rd party site, it could change the color depend on the angle, its really cool. First time I saw non-uber shader used on clothes.

    You need to install the Nvidia pack so that you have all the textures and such that it comes with.  My pack only saves you from having to run the script yourself

    meh, I have no luck with getting the Nvidia exe

    after battling Windows security the final download is corruupted and my authorization expires so cannot try again

    tried this once before, same thing

    nothing you guys can do, this is all on Nvidia, not the first time I have had issues installing their stuff
