FYI: Daz characters need to be resized a bit

I only have Cleopatra 8.1 and from its product page, the character is supposed to be 5' 4" (162.5 cm).   And I confirmed this in Daz by creating a 100 inch cube and scaling the Y value to 64%

After importing into blender via the bridge, I found I needed to scale the character by a factor of 1.1 x to be 5' 4".   Otherwise it was just under 4' 10"

So not sure if all characters are also coming across smaller, or this is unique to Cleopatra or some kind of settings.  The character is in its default form and in the default A-pose.

I suppose this could also be a bug in Daz, but hopefully not (i.e. then one couldn't trust any size settings there).

This is the bane of 3D everyone has their own standard because they don't want to share. If the standard was opensorce and everyone used the same size it would be easier on us consumers but corporations are all about exclusivity and owning everything. Consequently, you are gonna run into these problems.

DAZ characters aren't the only one. I've downloaded a few from Mixamo. One character will be 12 feet tall, while another is 6 inches. I agree with Silver Dolphin: too many don't want to play nice.
