How do I start creating simple anime hair in blender, with the objective of using it in daz?

I have an idea of how to do the modeling this video is a tutorial for it, and there are more, BUT I want to know the best way to start the import / export etc.

I want to create the hair for Sakura 8 (not strand based, simple mesh model), what's the best way to export the head or / and haircap from daz to blender?

Then how do I export the finished hair to daz and make it auto fit with one click like a normal daz piece of hair?

If someone can point me in the right direction before I spend time experimenting with some (or a lot of) methods that may not be the ideal way to do it, would be great. Thank you.

As I understand it most PAs do the geometry in an external application, then import in daz studio via obj and do the materials and rig there. There are a couple limitations for non PAs who can't do HD mesh and dforce hair.

I don't make daz content myself since I'd rather go from daz to blender rather than the opposite. So can't help much here.

I use particle hair so I can't personally attest to this, but Hair Tools seems to be the most popular hair addon for doing mesh/ribbons.
