All okay but supplies are running low !!!

Went to Spar to pick up some goodies but they were empty of all dairy products - got a loaf of bread.

Then off to Woolies - they were even more bare - no dairy, no bread, no fruit and veg, no meat .....

The flooding has gone down and the shops are promising to restock over the next couple of days !

I ate some obscure Aldi brand of mixed bean salad the other day, those together with the sauerkraut I had later made my own cyclone downunder

Our Texas Gulf (of Mexico) hurricane supplies include canned Turkey Spam and single serve tuna pouches.  The "Use By" dates are typically several years ahead, so they don't get replaced very often, when they get donated to food drives with ~6 months to go. And replaced.  The big problem is ice, so we start loading the ice maker into the big freezer, which can stay cold for days after the power goes.    The bourbon seems to last just fine.  yes

Cooking instructions for a Galah -

    * You cook a galah in a pot of water with a clove-studded onion, a bouquet garni, a dash of dry white wine, a pinch of salt, and a stone, brick or axe head.

When the stone is soft enough to be pricked with a fork, the galah is done.

Stopped by to cancel my Daz+ membership.  Thought I had ended it with canceling annual renewal last year, but they must  converted it to monthly renewal instead of cancel.  Grrrr.  Anyway, taken care of now.

Still finding uses for Carrara all the time.  Amazing, convenient, and powerful.  Opened Daz Studio once, but just not worth the render times.

Stay safe, Aussies.  Arkansas peak tornado season approaches in April/May, although they can occur most of the year.  My prep is a pair of ruby slippers and the assurance that ... there is no place like home.  I bought a USA Rail pass so will not be in Arkansas for much of April - I hope.

I will see if I can whip up a freebie of some sort to share in the next few days.  Maybe a procedural shader of some sort instead of a model.  Or maybe a model.  We shall see.

    Is Arkansas meaning 'south wind'?

you should have an online diary of your train travels so we can keep up wink

some products are discontinued for a reason

I am being tortured by such a product

    Cornucopia's Medieval Fantasy Village

this if you have it https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/files#prod_17859

after giving up trying to separate the water wheel and boats from it in Carrara (too heavy for vertex room)

I finally did so in DAZ studio with the geometry editor

    but

That wheel will NOT spin with a spin modifier, it jerks back and forward, no restraints, changing motion to angles doesn't work either, just why???????

I expect this behavior in DAZ studio but not Carrara

the former is notorious for jerking wheels that won't spin and I never have had anything do this with the spin modifier

    edit

cannot get it to spin in DAZ studio either though that surprises me less

What happens if you delete all the geometry except for the wheel? Then you can reset the centre point? Ps That link leads to your library, thanks ., ! Boy you have a lot of stuff.

it is just the wheel, centred in the vertex room and all

cars I always used the spin modifier on wheels so no idea what's wrong with this object

keyframing set to angles doesn't work either or parented to a target helper
