What is the work flow for making good props for Daz with Blender?

What I mean is what is the general work flow of a finished prop in Blender to be sure it works OK in Daz?

Well modelled with good geometry for preference.

    UV unwrapped.

Vertex groups set up if you are creating a rig - say for a door for example.

Textures, unless you're planning on using the textures you have in Daz Studio already.

Oh, and I presume you mean Daz Studio, not Daz Carrera, Daz Bryce or Daz Hexagon?
