Blender 2.93 not rendering Diffeo scene

I've downloaded Blender 2.93 and opened one of my 2.92 scenes that started in Studio and came to Blender via Diffeo. It still renders fine in 2.92, but in 2.93 the render window comes up, then it stops. Blender menus can be reached, but the program does not exit. Anyone have an idea?

    Which diffeo version do you have in 2.92 and 2.93 ? Is there any error in the blender console and/or the diffeo log ?

    @wolf359 both 1.5.1 and 1.6.0 should work fine with blender 2.93

    There are no errors given, but the responses have prompted a few ideas. I will try a few things and update.
