Complaint: I had to call AAA to pull Diane's car out of the yard. I can't afford to pave it, and the heavy rains we've had made mud...and the car got stuck when I was trying to put it back out on the driveway. The more I tried, the deeper it dug in.

    Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!

    Dana

    Well, that blows ;down:

The UAT students are happy Vicky's Diner is open on Thanksgiving! Even Aiko's Gothic Sushi is closed...

Hehe Armadillo gets around  And Vicki's Diner never looked so good :)

When the old Moonlight Diner went under, it sat for a few years.. but when Vicky came back from South America with her prizes, she bought it and fixed it up! :cheese:

Vicky is mostly done with adventuring, she's nearly died so many times she's decided it's time to stop. She still has her airship, but now she just runs tours..

There is a deeper story here.. ;-)

Vicky is very annoying, she wants her story told. :blank:

The potluck was insane.. we had more food than anyone could eat. :cheese:

AND WE HAD A BAND! :cheese: :cheese: :cheese: It was jam, members of 4 local bands just dropped in.. omg.. all the rock and metal you could ask for!!

This was the BEST Thanksgiving I've had in DECADES!! :) :)

Now home with one Hell of a buzz, working on Vicky's Grand Opening.. I might be able to pull this off! :cheese:

BTW, the armadillo is Alex.. he's a running back (junior year)for the UAT Armadillos. And the dude has one heck of an appetite :blank:

Be careful when typing that! One wrong letter would totally change the meaning of that sentence! Can you guess the letter?

...Thursday night, holiday night, people too brain starved of oxygen from a heavy meal (&drinking; multiple glasses of wine and/or multiple bottles of beer).

...yeah, asleep from because of the food and/or libations.

    hey all!

hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Mine was mostly very good - shoulder and neck giving me fits though, so I can't sleep :'( 6am and still haven't been to bed - though the tiredness is beginning to overwhelm the discomfort!! (amazing how that works sometimes)

We had my sister, nephew (home for the holiday - he is in the Navy), and Mom and stepdad over - and food was devoured by all! (good, good food too! Mom did the turkey, sis did the ham, and my wife did the fixin's!)

... and I actually managed NOT to eat too much this year!!!! O.O (came close though! hahahahaha)

Homemade (from scratch) pecan pie for desert! =D

Starbucks WiFi is acting weird as I cannot access my tablet's app store to download a calculator. I got to go catch the next bus.

It's Friday, Friday.. and, as Rebecca Black says, you gotta get down on Friday!

Bank run about mid-day.. probably eat while I'm out. Plenty of food and beer for the evening, so I'm good to go there.

I'll nibble the ham this weekend, right now.. kind of burned out on ham.. :red:

Need to lay down some tracks and do some renders this weekend, just going to relax!

46F right now, supposed to hit 63F.. weekend will be warmer. I might go downtown to explore! :)

*edit* Diner poses on sale! Just in time...

The 6 core computer rebooted itself while I was shopping at the Daz Store. I'll need to check the error logs to see if an application is misbehaving. The temperatures look fine. Maybe there is a loose cable inside or outside of the computer. Arrg.

...do you have Windows "Auto Update" active?

I have it set it to send me a message that there are pending updates rather than letting it update and install automatically. Nothing is more annoying than having the system reboot with only 10% to go on a big render job.

I also set FF's updates to notify me first as well

    -----

ETA. Wonderful, now the "n" key is acting up.

...still a bit groggy from all the food last night. Going to be a Yawnulus kind of day today.

Windy and rainy out today with the temperature graph on a downhill plunge through tomorrow night/Sunday morning when it will be back down in the 20s and the in giving way to snow. Good time to just stay inside. Have more than enough food, beer, tea, Scot's whiskey and potato wodka to get through the weekend, so the only shopping I'll be doing before Monday is that of the virtual kind.

BTW All Daz O's (except new releases) on sale for 47% off including individual G2 figures (63% for PC members).

...hmmm...Girl6, or Aiko6?, or the Xiao Mei Bundle for G2F (nice Vietnamese character). All around the same price.

...I think that would apply better to Linux as it requires more attention on a regular basis to maintain.

    :ahhh:

I'm sorry I went out, but I had to! *cry* EVERYWHERE was insane.. huge line at the bank, mob scene at CVS..

The only quiet place was Rib Crib, where I feasted on baby back ribs, fried catfish, okra, corn on the cob,and tater salad. The mile walk home from the bus station was nice since it was warm and breezy. :) I also have enough leftover ribs, catfish, and fried okra for a second meal! :cheese:

Oh, and honking. Honk at the car in front of you, honk at the cars passing, honk at yourself. :blank: Happy Black Friday I guess. :shut:

Will go out for a beer soon.. need to relax a bit. It's sooo not worth it to be out there today.
