Importing files

All the literature says it will import .rds files, Raydreams, but when I try to pull an object up it says no importer for the file format. Wondering what I am doing wrong??

    I get a message "No importer for the file format" when I try to convert a .rds, Raydream, object. I see in the literature that it should work. What am I doing wrong???

    Yes in Daz Studio 4.7 (64 bit); Carrara 8.5
