Daz -> Blender -> Daz Pipeline

I'm completely new to Daz 3D and it's workflow so before I end up wasting a ton of time I was wondering If I use the pipeline Daz to Blender then back to Daz (3d Sculpt model in Blender) will that make the models incompatible with the other Daz features, Ie style changes, morphs?

You can use any modeler including blender to sculpt morphs for daz studio. How this will affect the figure depends on the paramenters you set with the morph loader. That I am not an expert of.

Yes, you absolutely can.  I think SickleYield had a tutorial on how to export a character with a shoulder holster, fit the holster in Blender, then import the edits back into DAZ using Morph Loader Pro.  I'm sure there are other tutorials by now.  The basic flow is export the object(s), move vertices via sculpt and edit, then re-import the changes to DAZ.  BUT, you cannot change the number of vertices in Blender.  Start out using the grab and smooth tools (sculpt), and proportional editing (edit mode).  If you change the vertex count it won't work.

My opinion, I think this is a great way to up your DAZ game without devoting a huge amount of time to learning new software.  Only using a few features of Blender at first gives a good intro to the program.  I've looked at a lot of DAZ images and just being able to do some basic sculpting would improve many images (clothing, hair, fixing thighs, hips, character interactions with objects, etc.).

Also remember to export from DAZ Studio at base resolution. I remember following some YouTube video on the Export/Import settings for both DAZ Studio and Blender. Search and ye shall find.
