Eyebrows & Coloring

I have a Gen 8 female with skin shaded green. I made several modifications and got the face just right using orc fantasy morphs. Somehow during the morphs the eyebrow color became linked to the skin color, and I don't know how to change it back, and don't want to start over again. I know there is some option I am missing. I tried selecting things on the surfaces tabs, but don't see a way to display the eyebrows there. I KNOW I"ve seen these before. I tried loading other models, but with no luck, What are eyebrows under?

Do I select the brows under eyelashes in the menu above -- mods only seem to change the lashes. I don't understand the relationship between eyebrows and faces, and Google has failed in an epic manner.

Thanks for any help!

Those eyebrows appear to be part of the skin texture. (Specifically, part of the "Face" surface, you can go double-check there.) The only fixes are using another no-eyebrow skin, or using a similar fibermesh eyebrows over it and coloring those brows how you want.

  • Hello!
I also have issues with painted on brows on some of the textures but I found the Brow Remover and it takes a minute or so to run but works like a dream! It removes the painted on brows so you can use fibermesh ones and color them whatever color you need!

  • Thanks, MimicMolly & Ellindra! I used Brow Remover as you suggested and it works well. Does anyone have advice on where to get natural fibermesh brows? I bought Ulimate Eyebrows for Gen 8F, but they look more painted and I usually do fantasy renders where the characters would have more natural brows. Or maybe there's a setting that someone knows how to use the program?

    I have those 3 packages.

I use Super Natural Brows the most. I has the most options, thin, t.hick, brows projection. I use this when I want the brows to stand out.

I use beautiful brows on my glamour renders. These are a lot softer, however, the color option is a bit limited.

I got Luxe primarily for the lashes, but the brows are even softer than beautiful brows. I use these on Asian characters. The brow colors are also limited.

  • Thanks, JV! Put the natural brows in my wishlist -- hit my monthly budget limit today sad so will try it next month. Looks like a good resource, though.
