Genesis 8 and Cloth Weaver

I bought the Cloth Weaver Addon for Blender, but I can't work out how to make clothes for a character with an A-pose (i.e. Genesis 8)

I've looked over the Cloth Weaver site, but I can't find anything to help me. I thought their rigging tutorial would've helped me, but they only use one of the models that they've built the add-on around. I've tried importing and using an FBX Genesis 8 model, but that didn't work either.

I just don't know what to do/try next. Although, I can't imagine that many people have tried Cloth Weaver, when Marvelous Designer is more "user friendly".

    Not tried it myself. I do remember seeing it and looking at at least one youtube vid.

    could you do it on Genesis 3 then transfer it to 8 (or choose 8 in the Transfer Utility)

    I didn't know that was possible. I don't use the Transfer Utility very often (if at all).

    I don't think I'll be using Cloth Weaver anytime soon, though. Blender keeps throwing out errors when I try to stitch clothing.

    I prefer the addon Simply Cloth. The creator has been making a lot of YouTube videos of his process lately too.

    You don't even need an addon to cloth sew in Blender. This says 2.8, but should work in latest as well.
