Trouble with a hair shader

I'm having trouble with an Alpha map on Karla Hair for Genesis 8 females. I've tried various methods of importing the hair into Blender from daz, same thing everytime. Black blobs occuring only down at the bottom. Any help would be appreciated thanks!

    i had that problem, and fixed it by turning up the number of transparency rays in the render settings. 32 is a good number.
