Attach a box to the character's body

I'm very new to Daz 3D so please bear with me if I get the technical terms wrong.

I'd like to attach boxes to the character's (specifically Genesis F and M) head, chest, and pelvis so they can be rigged and animated along with the character itself. And I want to make these boxes "smart content" so that I can easily apply them to any genesis-based character.

How can I do it?
