maybe speaking to soon, but ysterday i had to login in about 20 times. Been on here off and on this morning for a few hours and not once, really odd.
Lucky you. I've had to log in 5 times already this morning
I just logged in 15 more times. I'm just never going to close the web browser again.
That's an interesting solution!
So, if you don't close the browser tab, you never get logged out?
Logged out again this AM, went all the way back to daz3d.com/home, logged back in. (Temporarily) stable for now.
Nope, still happens regardless.
I'm getting kicked out several times per day since about a week or so...
We're going to need @Ati to create a browser extension that logs you in again every time you go to any DAZ webpage.
This is really starting to irritate me. I only ever use the one browser/device. I find it odd that they say they can't fix it, but they can obviously make it worse.
(Hold on while you sign me out? NO, THANKS. JUST LEAVE ME SIGNED IN.)
Yeah, this is at least 3 or 4 times today for me. I would guess I'm on the low side for that.
I'm using the RoboForm browser plugin, it will log you in at any site with just a click or two.
I have had 3x last 10 mins
It's getting worse every single day.
I noticed this thread when it first appeared but did'nt have a problem until now. At the moment I have to login every day.
Best Wishes
Steve.
At least, please, don't redirect us after the login.
If I'm looking at a page on the store, or on the forum, why do you have to redirect me after the login?
Well - at least you are getting email alerts ... I don't.
I do get alerts when someone mentions me, I do get alerts when somebody sends me a PM and that's it. No email alerts for threads I should get emails for ...
Exactly. Like we are being punished for not spending money! LMAO
Edge is my default browser. I don't get logged out multiple times a day like many have reported here but it's daily! So no, on my end using Edge browser doesnt' keep my logged in indefinitely! They need a new webmaster or the folks at the top of the chain are giving permission to make it so security laden that it's affecting the user base. Not a good idea DAZ, you may have the market but you may end up loosing some folks to these shenanigans!
I buy stuff regularly (at least everyday or two) and I still have log in many times a day. So, for me it is more like DAZ doesn't want me to spend money.
Maybe DAZ wants folks to go back to using Poser! LMAO
The logout issue seems to be better today. I've only had to log on once so far. [Where's the fingers crossed emoji when you need one?]
Now that it seems fixed, we need a purple banner with a $1 credit for every time we logged in this week.
they couldn't afford to give me that much credit
at one point I logged in about 20x in an hour and I still visited here far too frequently once I used the easiest to sign back in browser on my ipad.
Yes noticed been logged in now almost a day.
Yes. Seems to be fixed. iPad and pc are still both logged in.
I haven't been logged out today, either. Thank you, DAZ.
I am logged out each time I AM buying something ...
I've noticed it doesn't even log me out if I go directly to the forum instead of the main page. But I also didn't buy anything. Maybe buying stuff has been what caused the problem all these years.
I use the 'stay logged in' box and still end up needing to log in every day (sometimes twice a day) including today. :(
Although I have multiple browsers on my machine, the only browser I use is Chrome, and then only on a single computer. To get to forums, another login. To get to help, another login. Nothing seems to be integrated in such a way that the browser can pass the credentials to each new module used for that specific purpose (chat boards, issue tracking system, store) yet I continue to hope that this is something they'll consider some time in the future.
DAZ could be so much more if they paid a little more attention to the end-user experience and implemented more world-class strategies in their development practices.
