With the inclusion of Iray RTX 2020.0.0 in DS, how will the new fiber primitve support (curve based hair without tesselation) effect Strand Based Hair in DS? Specifically, will it help make it less resource intensive?

    I can suggest only watching the change log, though of course it's quite possible that anything being done wil be kept under "Source maintenance." I can't immerdiately see anything on the subject.

    Thanks, Richard. I have been keeping an eye on it and am just excited about the possibility, as I have a couple of half-cooked hairy projects that were put on hold.
