Unable to Use Or Redownload Daz Studio!

I'm really confused as to what to do here. I just recently got a new iMac and transferred everything to it. Opening Daz3D, I get the "A valid PostgreSQL CMS connection could not be established" message. Thinking I'd have to reupload Daz3D like I did Adobe Creative Cloud (which had the authentication failed message), I uninstalled Daz3D and attempted to reinstall it. 

However. 

Attempting to reinstall it via the Install Manager automatically gives me an "Install Failed!" message. Moreover, while I'm able to download it directly, I cannot install it either as I get an error message. 

Granted all I got now is the Public Build, but the Daz Studio I use has all my settings and I'm much more used to that one. And I would like to get that back somehow but I'm getting stonewalled at every turn. What do I do?

I have not, actually. I wasn't aware if that was a thing I was able to do. :/

Okay, I uninstalled the PostgreSQL that was already there and tried reinstalling both it and Daz3D. Now BOTH installations have failed. :/ 

EDIT!! I got it all figured out now. I can't brain today, I got the dumb. ^^;; 

CORRECTION: I got Daz3D back but I still can't login in through because of PostgreSQL error. :/ Right back where I started, but at least I got the app back.

The PostgreSQL connection alert shouldn't stop DS from opening. PostgreSQL connection issues are often down to permissions; you might want to look through the thread on Macs in general https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/16599/the-mac-faq#latest
