Render Quality Setting

In Iray Render settings....

"Rendering Quality Enable"

Is there a value this should be? Does this extend render time and is it worth it?

If render quality is enabled then the image will render till it is either converged to teh ratio you set, the maximum number of samples have been reached or the max time is reached. So it is, in theory a control over stopping the render when the image is x% converged. Rendering quality basically doubles the number of iterations to reach any specific % converged.

Tbh I have never had much success with render quality and generally just turn it off and run my renders a set number of iterations.
