Overwrite recording

Hi,

I have a character. I've createrd some puppeteer layers for it and i've recorded some movements into Animate2 timeline.

I've moved things like head, lips, eyes, brows, etc..

Now i want to overwrite this recording in some places for certain part like eyes.

When i try to do this the result is a "fight" between the old and new recordings, like the new recording doesnt erease the old keyframe.

I dont have a seperate track for the eyes so i cannot mannualy delete the keyframes.

How do i overwrite the recording in some parts?

  • Do you have the newest version of Daz?

If so I think it now includes Keymate and Graphmate.

You should be able to delete just the keyframes you want and then add the new movements where you want.

I use Keymate and Graphmate all the time, I never use the timeline, it is so much more difficult using the timeline.

  • Assuming you have the full version of AniMate 2 you should be able to bake to keyframes, remove the unwanted keys, and turn back into AniBlock(s). It's not, however, an area of the application I have worked with.
