What I'd really like to see are detail expansions to Zev's Skin Builder. Those create accurate normals and bumps alongside the texture details, and since they can be used on existing textures, we could customize the textures we already own.

I agree. Zev's Skin Builder is a wonderful tool and I use it all the time. TBH I would love to see a collection of skin detail expansion add-ons for it. Right now, it has great options, but has little variations for details. Subtle details and variations can really enhance a characters skin. Also, with more options you can have a more unique look instead of having the same mole or vain pattern on all models.

I have tried every search possible, uninstalled, reinstalled, manually installed, and still, no morphs show up, even though the files show up in File Manager. My report to DAZ Customer Service, well, acknowledged but response delay due to high number of reports.

So, maybe by late January maybe I will get the Body Morphs to use finally.

  • You checked where the screenshots on the first page of the thread said they should be? If they aren't there, it might be an installation problem.

Yep, made a screen shot of them so I wouldn't loose it. Deleted files so many ways, spent hours on this. Now waiting on this. Two computers, both Win 10, same issue.

Be sure Genesis 8 Female is selected then under the shaping tab select actor > real world.

Not sure of your Photoshop prowess, but you can pretty easily make some wonderful skin mashups with stuff in your library.

Went back on my desktop, loaded G8F, and searched based on your attachment @CharlieJudge (Thank you) and selected 'HD' due to the number of packages I do have. I then searched on the other names: Athletic, Casual, Curvy, and Slim (I couldn't remember the other one) but no find except for other PA's sliders. I even double-checked that the package is installed on this computer.

This only shows the very top of my HD morph packages.

Everyone who is trying to help myself and others, thank you.

I have reported this same problem with Daz and to date no answer... anyone with a quickfix?

I searched here and none could be found. I even typed a search and could not find it.

I've never heard that normal maps don't react accurately to light. Isn't that one of the advantages they have over bump maps?

I was curious if this were true so i did a comparison between a bump map and  the same bump map converted to a normal map (using https://cpetry.github.io/NormalMap-Online/ , inverted R, and amount set to around 0.2 in DAZ)

They look nearly the same in my opinon.

    hope this helps.
