Ran into a snag with the data folder I submitted, but it looks like things are progressing on DAZ3D's end. I'm sure it will be any day now.

Hopefully you won't have to guess for much longer. I want to create a no-limits gallery of everyone's REAL Hairy renders after it gets released. They can be g-rated or completely sick and raunchy. I don't care if it's a nun getting it on with M6 and an octopus. How's that for a mental image.

    Hi MikeyFTL,

Just a quick comment to let you know I am still eagerly awaiting for your product to reach the store. Seems like a very long week, so I hope bringing this thread back into play helps speed up the process. ;-P

    Kind regards.

Just purchased this in the store this morning. Probably one of the best items I have ever purchased. Thanks! Looking forward to more from you.

Well I obviously missed my early April deadline. This turned out to be a-lot more work than I anticipated, but then again most 3D modeling is. Thought you might like to see what's ultimately being included in the package. Here are the modules that will be included if the folks at DAZ3D approve. If you're curious what the "Intimate" module is, use your imagination.

Looks great. I think I will buy it when it comes out.

This is great for the truly hirsute male but it would be even greater if less density and less coverage were offered too. Maybe not so much coverage up to the shoulders and sparse hair on the back. Less density on arms and legs. Think cross between asian and euro.

That would make a good add-on. In the meantime, there's always the Polygon Group Editor tool on the Building|Scripting tab if you ever want to do some manscaping with the existing package. You can select individual hairs, apply a surface to them and then set the Opacity Strength to 0%. This would allow you to save your manscaping work.

You can also set the REAL Hairy thickness to 10% or 20% for a low coverage look.

    Thanks for the reply.

So if I use the Polygon Group Editor tool does that mean I can make the edges of the v-neck hair transparent so only a tuft is showing out of say a polo/rugby shirt (to avoid poke through)?

Yes. You can use the Polygon Group Editor to remove as many hairs as you need. Just remember that you should assign the highlighted hairs a transparent material so it can be saved, otherwise you will have to manscape all over again.
