Ben here is excited that REAL Hairy is almost ready for release. We just can't show you how excited.
Ran into a snag with the data folder I submitted, but it looks like things are progressing on DAZ3D's end. I'm sure it will be any day now.
AWESOME news Mikey!
REAL Hairy passed Final Review and is Ready to Release. Looks like it might be showing up in the store this week. Just in time for summer!
OMG.. that's just so awesome! YAY! Hope you make some good cash for all your hard work Mikey!
Aww, we'll have to guess then XD
Looking good and i suspect it will be part of the summer punch sale?

Hopefully you won't have to guess for much longer. I want to create a no-limits gallery of everyone's REAL Hairy renders after it gets released. They can be g-rated or completely sick and raunchy. I don't care if it's a nun getting it on with M6 and an octopus. How's that for a mental image.

Now that's a creepy but excellent render!
It was...while it lasted...heheheh
I don't even want to think of that lol, AHS 2.5 Asylum Nuns Go Wild
Hmm...REAL Hairy has been Ready to Release for 2 days now. Is there something I should be doing at this point?
There should not be anything else to do but wait. :) That's the hard. part.....
Speak of the devil...I just received notice that REAL Hairy is scheduled to be released next Friday 5/30. Mark your calendars.
That is great news! Calendar marked!
Exciting! :)
It's time!
Hi MikeyFTL,
Just a quick comment to let you know I am still eagerly awaiting for your product to reach the store. Seems like a very long week, so I hope bringing this thread back into play helps speed up the process. ;-P
Kind regards.
Well, the date is set so I doubt this will speed anything along...but its a nice thought.
Yay, it's in the store!
Can't wait to see those renders! I will make a commercial post.
Just purchased this in the store this morning. Probably one of the best items I have ever purchased. Thanks! Looking forward to more from you.
That would make a good add-on. In the meantime, there's always the Polygon Group Editor tool on the Building|Scripting tab if you ever want to do some manscaping with the existing package. You can select individual hairs, apply a surface to them and then set the Opacity Strength to 0%. This would allow you to save your manscaping work.
You can also set the REAL Hairy thickness to 10% or 20% for a low coverage look.
Thanks for the reply.
So if I use the Polygon Group Editor tool does that mean I can make the edges of the v-neck hair transparent so only a tuft is showing out of say a polo/rugby shirt (to avoid poke through)?
Congratulations on making it into the store! No budget today, but my wishlist grows!

Yes. You can use the Polygon Group Editor to remove as many hairs as you need. Just remember that you should assign the highlighted hairs a transparent material so it can be saved, otherwise you will have to manscape all over again.
Thanks I just purchased it. I will give it a go next week.
