  • Say I have a board/plank and I put an eye bolt to the top, when I raise and lower the plank the eye bolt stays in place instead of moving with the plank. How do I fix this? The eye bolt will have a rope attached to it that the character pulls the plank up with. I have one end of the plank set as a pivot point.

I don't think your question is the same as discussed here.

But to answer your question, if I understand it correct.

    - You can create the plank and the eye bolt as one object.

    - If you don't want that you can simply parent the eye bolt to the plank

But neither of these will solve if you want the rope attached to both the eye bolt and the figure, if you move the plank.

ne way to do this might be to reverse it - parent the rope to the figure, then the bolt (if it needs to be separate) to the rope and the plank to the bold. You could either make them separate objects, or a single object and turn it nto a figure with bones for the parts that need to move separately.
