Daz hair and elf ears

Im sure this has been covered before... How to parent the head hair to a daz figure with out getting the hair to fly up around the elf ears... I know a simple work around is to not to double click the hair to the entire figure..like have none choosen.. lower the hair onto the model and the ears will stick though the hair properly..then parent the hair to the head only... problem is longer hair will not follow other body parts and have to be manually moved ...Is there a work around where elf ears work as well as normal ears ??

Long/elfin/pixie ears have long been a pain.  Some of the dForce hairs mitigate some of the issues. But, for teh older styles you can offset some of the problems by selecting the hair in the scene tab and, under Properties in the Psoe/Shaping pane select to see hidden properties and dial back to 0% all those morphs that have been used to give the underlying figure those ears.

  • Note that this trick only works if the ears are morphed separately from the head/full-body morph. Some characters morph the entire head including the ears, all in one go.
