Reality Plugin Source

Hi,

Preta3D released the plugin as opensource, a few months back. But I am unable to access the source from bitbucket. Does anyone have the source or can access the source?  I see only the qt libraries n the repository.
https://bitbucket.org/realityplugin/reality/src/default/

Thanks

Vijay S

I thought those were the source. Anyway, once I saw the price of the QT framework, that stopped me in my tracks. I'd have to trade-in my car to afford that.

Paolo is still active on the Preta3D forums, so you can probably ask him to be sure.

  • But Paolo provided entire opensource QT there on the repository... Yeah, sure will check with Paolo....

  • I just searched the preta forums, and found this... thanks ...

"I had to make the repository private again because I found out that all my past revisions are still there and that includes some private data that I don't want to have in public. I'll clean up the data during the holidays and make the repo public again."

I'm still not sure I understand it. Do I need the whole QT development suite to modify the source code? Cause that's like 5 grand.
  • I haven't looked at the sources but Qt is free and open source. They also sell commercial licenses but they are not required for "normal" use. For all intents and purposes Qt is free.

Thanks. I must have been looking at the wrong thing. At the Qt.io site, they do say it's free and open source, but then they also offer a free trial and a licensing package. Whenever the Reality source is posted again, I'll take another look.
