Looks like a nice character from what I can see so far. Waiting for more than the main promo pic to go up. The bonus add-ons seem pretty weak again and the purple bar offer I got really doesn't better them by much. From $8 off X 5 caztegories to $13 if you buy four add ones and then to 18 if you have the purple bar. Ad text isn't clear on whether that's only with the Pro Bundle, but I assume it is.

Images are going up now.... I'm amazed that DAZ approved some of these as the lighting is just awful... there's one C.U. portait that simultaneously overexposed, way too contrasty and overly tinted yellow that make this teen look to be in her mid thirties. The others are enough for me to tell that the figure's probably good even if the promo artist wasn't. Hopefully one of the forum reliables will buy her and start posting decent renders by moring. .
https://www.daz3d.com/the-all-new-teen-raven-8 is a major pass for me. There is not one item on offer that interests me, as I already have similar or better versions of the hair/clothes/characters.
Probably because they sell? They're definitely trying to spin this one as an "edgy" character and I quite like both the DD Summers character.by Disparate Dreamer and Hinkypunk's Dani. The Kitten dress, though nice, does seem a bit out of touch with the rest of the package, which is yet more pseudo-goth stuff.

I don't think the Scifi Angel Racer outfit is aerodynamic enough to have the word "racer" in it! Also the Kitten Dress is not made of kittens!
Otherwise? It's fine. I find it hangs together thematically as a contemporary teen package much better than the other teen bundles apart from the unavoidable sci-fi . Also none of the bundled characters are in swimsuits, which is unusual, even for teens.

Content creators make what sells. They base the decisions on what to make based on actual sales. Not the few who express what they like/dislike on the forum. Saying “not another white female” like a broken record on this forum doesn’t represent the majority of consumers. Like reddit, only a few % of the community actually leave comments. Every time a white female shows up in the store, the same comments appear. But the reality is sales data is what makes decisions. Not the few on a forum. Just saying.

The main promo isn't actually of Raven, it's one of her add-on characters according to the smaller previews. Currently they just go to the front page when you click them.
Just want to add that i do like DD Summer, but not enough that it warents buying the core character.
It is become a trend that the characters made by PA's are pretier then the core characters they need by DAZ....
Summer and Dani are must-buys for me.
The Matilda hair is a lot nicer than I thought at first glance. It's extremely versatile.

G8 had some really cool original characters, now it seems like the same thing over and over again, no offense to the artists involved
It seems they improved the face compared to 3 previous teen girls.
And once more with feeling: odd, that. Why wouldn't they put the main character as the major image in her own promo? Looking at the other two characters in the front page promo, I don't think she's in her own promo at all, which is really weird. (Mind, I like Summer -- although she seems to strongly resemble Maisie Williams, which means I'd never buy or use her -- but she shouldn't be the main promo character.)

Agreed, and I think Greta actually looks like a better execution of Teen Jane.
Some of the teens have looked more like Hollywood "teens" (20-30-somethings, cast in a "teenager" role)...
Raven looks closer to 25 than to 15... but it is what it is.
I've known women who actually looked like Kaylee and Josie, FWIW.

I find it really weird that Raven is not at the top of her own page. Bundle characters are at the top of the page, with DD Summer getting top billing, and not one, but two pics of Dani flanking her. The first image of Raven below them has dark glasses on and she is totally covered up. What is even going on? Its almost like they are hiding her until you scroll down. Doesn't it make sense to have the actual character you are advertising (Raven) at the very top of the page? Vicky would not stand for this kind of treatment!
Hard to get excited for any of this. If you want a teen so bad, how about looking to other ethnicities a bit? A teen Korean, or Malaysian, or hey, maybe Native American could be quite interesting and every bit as cute (actually cuter considering how Raven looks). Every single character today, from Raven to her bundles and add ons, are all white.She's cute and the hair choices are nice, but it's hard for me to understand what differentiates her from similar characters. She looks a lot like Babina to me (who looked a lot like Vicki to me--maybe they're all sisters).
Daz has done a good job with this new character (like usual) but with all respect: she doesn't look like a teen, more a woman of 20 to 24yo. Dani, the Hinkypunk-character looks like a teen.
She's beautiful. And she has personality. Whomever they used as a model has a distinctive enough face to set her apart from the Victorias of this realm. I'm crossing my fingers for her skin quality, but it looks hopeful. The Pro Bundle components look pretty useful, too, thankfully. I'd rather not have a nasolabial crease on my Teen HD, though. Because teen. Yes, I've heard that teens outside of California get indelible lines on their faces. But do they? Really?
Now, with the fourth teen this generation, a Daztopian irony has occurred to me: "Lolita" has been declared an unword by the Ministry of Dazspeak, but the G8F Core Teens would have to date outside of their generation to find a mate within the same age group. I remember when they just about gave Elijah 7 away, and Teen Ryan too. Let's have some more male affirmative action!
