There is no specific headgear for the Lekku tentacles, but an experienced Daz person can simply parent stuff to the Head. Some conforming headgear isn't horrible with the Lekku, however.
There is no utility to copy textures. The Lekku tentacles have their own UV as a separate standalone anatomy part, and nothing else uses that UV. The textures were created by hand when RawArt set up the figures, and any custom work you do is also by hand.
It's not difficult to make a map, but you do need to have an idea of how to make one that works.
Looks like you got some good answers there.
There is no automatic way to get textures to match the graft, they have to be made specifically for them.
Once more... Lekkulian for G8F, Sloane for Bridget 8, textures blended together in GIMP, with a layer based on Sloane's head textures used as the "Sloane" portion of the blend for the Lekku props.
Technically, this is very simple to do if you know the tools and know what the Surfaces are doing for you. If you can't use PhotoShop or GIMP to blend 2 maps together, then this is not possible for you. You have to be able to do basic PS/GIMP work to do this.
Thank you so much! I will definitely be giving this a try. I understood what was going wrong, but didn't have quite the level of technical knowledge to stitch it all together. I'll let you know what the results look like!
Not bad for a first try, I think.
Any hints on how to get that seam along the side blended a bit better?
Thanks again for the help!
After some more playing around, I achieved a much better blend. Still a slight disconnect where it leads into the face, but nothing a headband won't fix!
Looks good :)
Hope you post some finished art with her
Yeah, I just used the "trial and error" method of doing things by hand for mine. If you start with a fairly neutral, even toned base, it's easier to avoid seam issues. I don't have the tools RawArt uses, but that's also why I try to preserve some of the underlying Lekkulian texture when I generate my own custom maps for myself.
