I have no problem with content directories. It's just the Smart Content that won't work, and it seems a bit much to bother with.

Well it was a try. :down: I know that my smart content never quit got it right as well. Just another reason to use the categories from DAZ Studio 3. Nice and stable and I know that my CMS is running cause I do have a tab for services and can see it in there. So there is something inside the database that is not quit synced.

Thank you for the clarification gulan7. I was checking your links after work and I was a little brain dead. It didn't occur to me that you used the textures from the gloves...of course if I could read properly I wouldn't have gotten confused. :red:

Done in DAZ Studio 4.6.1.39. Her feet now are touching ground.
The Gallery has been updated. gulan7 I have uploaded the image from post 158 It is the post just above this one as your final image. We only get to update our images twice after initial submittal. Please check to see if I have spelled things correctly, got the right images, etc etc. For our newbies it is this gallery that the judges will go to when determining the winners of the contest.

Took a pretty literal approach, lol. Lighting took forever! Ended up with UE (and occlusion), 1 distant light and 1 spot.

KaribousBoutique - How did you apply the tattoos? I am asking as a new user who still has a lot to learn.
The tattoos are psd overlays. GIMP or Photoshop can open psd files. When you open them, you'll see one (or more) layer(s) of tattoos. To apply the tattoos, open the texture map that you want to "ink." (These will be in the runtime/texture folder for the character you're using.) Then it's just a matter of duplicating the desired tattoo layer from the psd file to the character's texture map. Since the tattoos are on a separate layer with a transparent background, you can rotate/resize them and arrange them wherever you want. It takes a little imagination to place them, but you'll get the hang of it. I've attached examples of the two textures I used in this image (with tattoos applied.) I hope this helps...
EDIT: Once you've saved the new texture as a .jpg (make sure you don't save it as a .psd), you'll need to select the texture zones on Genesis/V4/Whoever and swap the "normal" texture image with the new one. IN DS: If you open the surfaces tab and select the appropriate surface (arm/forearm/head, etc.), you'll see the original texture in the "diffuse" setting. Just click on the image, select "browse" and direct DS to the new image -- you'll see it appear on the screen when you do it correctly. Basically the same thing in Poser, just use the material room.

as for chinese new year the 12 animals everyone knows about but the elements are a three month event the first being water and not sure how they follow after that as i was born the year of the rat and am a water element being born in march if that helps anyone look it up woohoo i did good lol.

I had a feeling that is the technique you used. I am still learning GIMP but may have to give this a try.
