Yes, that would help too.
But even @Cris Palomino won't tag Cris the same way that @Chohole does for you.
Ah I wouldn't ever notice actually, as I don't have my preferences set up to notify me on mentions. Probably something to do with being two words and not one.
So, the %20 instead of a space doesn't work? I saw someone put #20, but that's not the right code. I don't want to start an avalanche of notifications...
Well, maybe one... oh, never mind...
Anyway, about the image links, I always set the New Window_blank, but the first time I try it to test it, it uses the same page, but after that it opens a new tab.
@NorthOf45, You'll never get the "@" mentions to work when there is a "stop" condition in the name. I think underscore works, not sure about hyphens. Apostrophes definitely don't work. And of course, neither do spaces.
I tried a whole bunch of stuff and could not get the %20, #20,  , underscore, or 'shifted space' to work in direct edit mode or HTML (source) mode. I even tried just making a link out of their space-gapped name and in editing mode it LOOKED like it worked, but when published, it did not.
Surprising that the function doesn't work with a name with a space, but the forum software allows you to create a name that amounts to an illegal argument. Depends how the string is parsed. If it stops at the last alphanumeric character, no amount of tweaking with special characters will get it to work.
