Is an update for Look At Me I also coming? Find myself often use I instead of II once I don't want to align the head.

U can not align the head but hitting the head toggle (sets the sliders to 0).  Sorry don't remember the name of the buttons, Im not at home.

I've installed the latest update (though there is no version number displayed in the script interface to confirm what version I am running). Look At Me II moves Neck 2, but not Neck 1. That can leave some pretty contorted necks, depending on what the original pose was before I apply Look At Me II. Is there an option to make it affect both neck bones and the head bone, to distribute the changes better?

It should be changing the neck closest to the head.  This has always been true for LAM.  The lower neck has never been touched by the script.

OK, I guess I just started with some poses that bent and twisted the lower neck (Neck 1 for G9) quite a bit. Using Look at Me II to make the model look at the camera instead, left her with lower neck bend and twisted one direction and upper neck bend and twisted the opposite direction. The result looked unnatural.

Edit: So my workaround is to manually zero out Neck 1 and redistribute the Neck 2 rotations to split them between Neck 1 and Neck 2. That looks better to me in these extreme cases.

(and thank you for such a quick response!)

    @RiverSoftArt:

Look at me is - among various other scripts from you - an essential tool for me. Don't know if I get it right but all I know is that Studio 2025 (Mac) has a new script engine and therefore older scripts does not work. Did not try your scripts in Studio 2025 though. Therefore: Will there be new versions of your scripts für Studio 2025 once released or do you plan to update them making them compatible. Don't know how much work that might be.

Would be in any case great to have something for the time in between as I doubt a little that the release of Studio 2025 is imminent. Currently I for example use studio 4 to enable/disable morphs via Turbo Loader and work with them in studio 6.

Yesterday I made a rookie mistake and didn't save a file I had setup on a character render, added Cat Zeus and then decided to use Look At Me Each Other Jennie 9 HD to Cat Zeus on my MacMini M4 Pro and selected both characters, then the button and Daz Studio 4.24.0.3 Beta crashed. Because of bad weather, I just shut my system down and just opened it now. I looked at the log and found the following lines. I am not sure if there are any clues to what caused this to blow-up or if it was because of me. I don't remember if this product was Windows only, it doesn't seem to be labeled so. And this is supposed to be updated to G9.

Okay, I think it was me. What I did was just click on the thumbnail, not right-click it to open the options. On the Windows 11 I tried that and it worked just fine.

Unfortunately, it has been turning out to be a lot of work. I am planning (and working on it) to have updates for most of my scripts.

I am glad it is working.

  • Hello DAQri (RiverSoft Art)!

Look At Me II Pose Control is the best script I've ever used in Daz Studio. It revolutionizes posing and eye contact setup — an absolute must-have in my workflow.

Recently, I upgraded my system with an RTX 5080 graphics card, which pushed me to switch to Daz Studio 2025 Alpha (6.25) for full hardware support. Unfortunately, many older scripts, including yours, don't run in this version due to changes in the scripting engine.

I've already adapted several open-source scripts (.dsa/.ds) to 6.25 myself using API analysis and tools like Script IDE — they work great now. However, Look At Me II is in the protected .dse format, so I can't make any modifications on my end.

That's why all my hopes are on you. I'd be incredibly grateful if you could eventually release an update for Look At Me II Pose Control that's compatible with Daz Studio 2025 (6.x). I'm happy to help test an alpha/beta version if needed.

Either way — huge thanks for your hard work and for making Daz Studio better for everyone. Your scripts are true artistry.

    Best regards, Tereman

I have spent months working to get some, not all by any means, of my products working for DS 2025 (one of the reasons I have been releasing so few products this year). In fact, I submitted an update back on Sep 4 for Look At Me II and was told DS2025 was not far enough along to test script products. As DS2025 moves out of Alpha, you can expect my products to get updates (slowly and over time)

Daz has released DS6 updates to some V3Digitimes scripts, so it seems that the answer they gave you is not consistent with their actions.

Thank you for the detailed update and for the months of hard work you’ve already poured into DS 2025 compatibility—I truly appreciate how much effort that takes.

Knowing that the Look At Me II update was submitted back on September 4 and is simply awaiting Daz’s beta testing readiness gives me solid hope. I’ll keep an eye on the transition out of Alpha and would be thrilled to test any pre-release build—my character-heavy scenes are perfect for stress-testing eye behavior and posing controls.

Fingers crossed the process accelerates soon, and thank you again for prioritizing this gem!

    Best regards, Tereman

Please check to see that your revised scripts will also work on the McIntosh version of DAZ Studio. I'm really hoping for that.

Actually I did not tell the whole story : I made a new product (not released yet) which can be called from the interface of 3 of my other products in order to use "this integration" update a way to push the "DS 2025 update" at the same time. These were the 3 updated products you saw. But this is the last time I will do this : three updates plus one new product is too much to handle in the same timeline. This is why, having the same information as Riversoft, I only update my products on my computer and store them, waiting for Daz green light to submit them. And just as Riversoft, it costs me months of updates, so almost no new release. So Riversoft got the right information... Wait... And chin up, Riversoft!

Ah, that makes sense. I have considered something similar to add DS2025 support for one of my products laugh

@inquire I should have a Mac by the end of the month to start testing scripts personally on Macs.
