I think it is a sign from the Universe that the year I get into 3D graphics, SIGGRAPH comes back to LA. Anyone going?

    I wish. I used to love that conference. Espeically the presentations from the researchers who were finding new solutions to various problems. Sometimes I even understood their math. cool

    I haven't been in *cough*cough* years though.

    Yeah, last year there were some great tutorials from some famous NVIDIA guys on the basics of RTX and raytracing and stuff, and how to write code for it. For us software geeks it was pretty cool. Thankfully they posted the vids online.
