The model is shown with wings but there is no indication in the description of wings??? Does anyone know if he comes with wings???

As per the "what's included and features" the wings do not come with the character.
They are probably Morningstar Wings.
Thank you, @GlenWebb, that is a headache I'll be glad to avoid. This happened a few years ago with a G3F character; I uninstalled her, and I've left the update sitting in DIM since then. I wanted to support any PA making a male character, but I guess I'll have to pass on Alistair.
THe connect install works just fine (i do the ofline install traditionally i.e... download the Connect offline file and its authorization in to the data install folder and have Daz Studio install) if you don't want to wait for the fix...
Where will the fix be announced?
I'm actually really into him, judging by the promos. His lips seem a bit much, but they can probably be dialled back easily. His skin looks great.
That happened with James for me. But with Alistair it's not quite the same, when he loads he looks more like G8M base character especially the body, The Basic G8M does load and I can load my own morphs, they are as they should be. There is no Alistair morph at all in the Parameters. Characters don't load properly from Smart Content though.
How did you install?
I put in a ticket. You can dial it out and save your character but all male figures from saved ones to my new rawart monsters have him dialed in. I am using dim. This is a character Alastair has infected.
it's a shame he's messed up and likely won't get fixed before the danged victoria coupon expires. I really like his skin, but I'm wary of buying a broken character.
You have 30 days to return it, it they don't fix it by then.
Heaven only knows if this is an example of what will come, but according to his thread, it took eleven days to get James for Christian 8 fixed the first time, with the exact same issue as Alistair, and then another four days to get him fixed again from the error they corrected him into. Of course, James wasn't coming out against a Studio update with issues, so.
With DIM.
you can buy him now with the coupon, move the skin mat to another folder and uninstall him. He will get fixed, it could be just a few days anyway.

I just discovered this with my G8M characters a few minutes ago. I'll uninstall him until they fix him.
He really is a very lovely character, I truly appreciate you geting him fixed.

Haha, I was just coming here to give everyone a heads up. I just saw a new package date in DIM. Thanks a bunch Pedro and DAZ. That was a quick fix. No issues from me.
I need to do some renders of him though. I think he'll fit the role of an angelic character I've had an idea for.

Thanks for the update, Pedro. But, I now have new issues. When I load in "Alistair". he loads perfectly. When I Load in "Alistair HD", neither his body nor head morphs load - they're zeroed in paramaters/shaping.
Secondly, there appears to be a visible seam in the back of the head.

Hmm, crazy thing. I opened him last night and he was fine. Just now I load the Alistair HD and yeah, I get the same issue. If I load base Alistair I get a Missing File error that a file in the data folder for Alistair-Babyfication cannot be found. I have Babyfication in my shopping cart, but I shouldn't be getting an error like that. Otherwise he loads fine. I guess I will submit a help ticket with the issues. And boy, I really love how he renders too. He has such awesome features and skin texture.
It's interesting, I only have one character thumbnail and that's for Alistair HD. And if I click on him he does not load the full character, just his skin on the base G8M. Also I install everything manually and I noticed that when I installed him it asked to overwrite the data folders for the default G8M eyelashes and gens. I didn't let it, and I can dial him in just fine, but no dice on the character loading icon. And i see the seam down the back of his head too.
Hi guys! Thank you for letting me know about these issues! Again I'll fix them as soon as possible an let you know when is out and I'll be extra harder on my self for future characters, I am very glad Alistair is making so much success and I am thrilled to see renders of him in the gallery.
BY THE WAY, did you know Alistair comes with his own genitalia shapes?
