It's part of the T-Rex sale. Click on the T-Rex section of the scrolling banner and then scroll part way down.

ROFL -- "Hundreds of Top Sellers": turns out to be 128 old RDNA products. laugh

Indeed, I was very unimpressed. There is nothing in the list I would buy for 1.99 even without the need to buy one of today’s items in order to trigger this deal.

I thought it may have been a bug with mine, and that everyone else was picking up Stonemason items for $1.99  laugh hahaha

    yes

Same here. Also nothing I want/need in the triggering New Releases. These promos where only a handful of new releases are triggers just aren't for me; make it any New item or "any of today's releases" and have fewer. There would probably be less store errors, too.

It might also cut down the number of posts in this thread. :)

I'm going to wait for another sale.

  • Phew!

I looked at that list (111 old mostly RDNA Poser Only stuff) and thought, 'Have I bought everything of worth already?'

Imagine my relief when I consulted the list while logged off, and found, not  hundreds of items but little more than a dozen more.

I'm sure it's the top selling old RDNA stuff..... smiley

Still, when someone says "hundreds", I'm generally expecting 200+. Hundreds, i.e. multiple times a hundred.

When someone says "over a hundred", that's when I'd expect an amount in the 101 to 199 ballpark.

Ah well, I'll write this down as more proof for my suspicion that the DAZ marketing team does NOT consist of native English speakers.

I'm sure you are right with that assumption, as most of them probably will be from the USofA

Agreed, "hundreds" isn't the right word.

But I wouldn't assume it's the work of non-natives to ANY English-speaking nation. I used to edit medical transcriptions done by transcriptionists whose first language wasn't any English dialect. Their command of English was quite good--they certainly didn't make errors like that.

Are these RDNA items really top sellers?

I'm not sure if I'm able to resist these top sellers another day...

It was supposed to be a joke in the line of americans of any heritage not speaking what others - especially englishers - would considers as english...

  • Urban Future 5 is currently in fast grab, it looks gorgeous but can someone tell me if 6gb of RAM would be able to handle it and a figure or two?

I've rendered it in the past on a GTX 980Ti which has 6GB vram.  Just did a quick test now - Aiko 8, Sci-fi samurai armour and Urban Future 5 and they rendered fine.  I'd definitely get it at that price.

Nor is "top." But I suppose "just over a hundred ordinary sellers" doesn't have such a buzz to it.

Yes, some have even been free with other purchases, etc. Free could easily make a best seller, based on quantity, not sales dollars. Who knows what the criteria is for "BEST SELLER"?

It is not showing as free on the product page or in the cart, either. That sometimes resolves itself. Sometimes it requires moderators to poke Daz to fix it.

For any who are wondering, freebies change over every two weeks, usually on a Monday. Many of the products showing on the Freebies page have prices that haven't changed over yet. They will all show as free soon, certainly before the end of the day. (I don't know if this is a CloudFlare cache issue or what, but it always takes a bit of time after the changeover for the prices to settle into Free status.)

Good catch. That product does require Utopia Labs.

While it doesn't include the products, it does include the 3Delight lighting, which by itself could be worth the hassle of loading the file without all the assets. It also includes the figure's pose, and the camera. I don't know if those are presets, though. But for free, I'm going to grab it and find out.

Later. Once the price has settled into Free.
